It’s Saturday!! We awoke to another hot and humid day, but a beautiful one. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of Eddie’s Breakfast Balls, which were a huge hit with everyone. Following breakfast, we were excited to host the Lake McWain Association at camp. 

There were a ton of badges being earned today as we approach our final week of First Session. Johann D. and Abe C. swam their Loons. Mario P. earned his Archer badge in archery. Ethan N. earned his Half Sour badge (senior pickleball). Amos L. and Eton M. earned their junior canoeing badges, the Penobscot, and James W. and Riley W. earned their senior canoeing badges. Hatcher B. and Adrian S. earned their junior woodshop badges and Raphael S. and Tom C. earned their senior woodshop badges.

For dinner we had the always popular burgers and dogs, and we concluded our night with Campfire. This week’s theme was MTV, and the campers had all kinds of MTV parodies and 90s and early 2000s pop culture references in their skits. It was yet another phenomenal Campfire, with every skit being a hit and garnering some laughs. Thus far, the three campfires we have had have been some of the best campfires top to bottom we have had in the last few years, in my humble opinion. Special shoutout to Owl’s Perch, Tourmaline, Munn, and the ukelele battle between Lennard C. and Tim F.
