What an Amazing and Mysterious Day at Camp!- July 29th Blog
Posted by: Birch Rock Camp
Today during second and third period swimming, a batch of ducks were seen swimming across the lake. All being guarded by the esteemed JC (Junior Counselor) Luis G, these ducks swam gracefully to their destinations. At second period Emmett C and Quinn V went to swim their ducks with impressive times, fast enough to beat the bell to general swim. During third period, Fritz S and Kekoa H decided that they too wanted to try their ducks, and so they did their swims in quick fashion, just in time to watch Chad, our loser of the JC (Junior Counselor) pirate off, walk the plank.
Today was also Mustache Monday! Campers and staff were sporting their best mustaches for this momentous day!
As the day went on, less and less people were on campus, for a variety of reasons; the Otters were going out for their trips and half of the Bears were on a secret mission. This meant that only a small amount of people were left at camp, but that didn’t slow the energy down at all. Jake L attained his Archer badge, and another clue regarding the mysterious man was found. The only showstopper tonight was the rain which forced us out of the field, but that didn’t stop us from having a great movie night with lots of laughs and tons of smiles.
