Welcome, Birch Rockers!
It’s fun to be a boy here in the Maine woods! Since 1926, Birch Rock Camp has welcomed boys ages 7 to 16 to the shores of Lake McWain, with towering pine trees and cozy, whitewashed cabins and a dynamic, talented staff of gentlemen and ladies. Whether you’re playing Capture-the-flag, building campfires, or sailing across the pristine lake – there is an activity or two you can embrace and celebrate your success.
Our camp community is all about simple pleasures, trying new things and nurturing friendships. Campers leave their electronic gadgets behind (often with relief!) and embrace the human connection of face to face, the natural world and a real break from their normal home and school routine.
We challenge campers to take responsibility for their lives and to appreciate the needs of others. Our motto, Help The Other Fellow is the foundation of our residential camp community. Birch Rock campers and staff gather from around the world to create a true partnership of lifelong learning and living.
