Preparing for 2026
Happy Birthday, Birch Rock Camp! We are preparing for our 100th season in 2026 – an exciting milestone that offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the camp’s history, our current community and plan ahead for future generations. The camp community will have a number of celebratory events during the season for our campers, neighboring McWain Pond Association members, the town’s local Waterford Historical Society and of course, the Birch Rock Camp Community Grand Celebration Weekend – August 14 – 16, 2026.

This coming season we are pleased to announce that our Maine Wilderness Adventure program is fully enrolled and underway for campers ages 15-16. Additionally, our Leadership Camper Program for our eldest (16) young gentleman will continue to foster future camp counselors. Of course, our boys’ camp programs (ages 7-15) are continuing to evolve with both traditional and innovative daily programs and activities in keeping with the core values and daily rituals that help bring campers and staff of all ages together in a close community. We want our campers and staff to experience a fun filled summer experience of enjoyment, lifelong learning skills and mutual support.
We recognize that sending your camper to Birch Rock is a big investment. Our commitment is to provide a lifelong learning experience of building confidence, personal comfort and adventure in a natural, nurturing environment where boys can truly boyhood in the Maine woods. We challenge boys to take responsibility for their lives and to appreciate the needs of others – in the spirit of our camp motto for 100 seasons: Help The Other Fellow.
