The best sound ever, the morning bell, woke us up and the energy was hype with tether ball and porch coffee.  Breakfast—pancakes and sausage —was served in the lodge with the big fans working overtime, but everyone already had the lake and activities on their minds.

By 9 a.m., sunscreen was slathered, swimsuits were on, and the docks were alive with energy. The lake stretched out before us like a sheet of polished glass, just waiting to be disturbed by instructional swim dives and kayak paddles.

Julian D. was super helpful and having a blast at kayaking and James G. whittled the most amazing fuzz stick we’ve seen in many years and got his knife rights!  

Thomas W.  was swishing everything up at basketball and Hector C. was crushing hits out to Sanderson’s at baseball! It was so sick! 

Hot days on the lake at Birch Rock are more than just warm weather—they’re a recipe for connection, joy, and memories that stretch far beyond the hillside.

Smiles and fun were plentiful and we are so excited for an amazing summer! Let’s go!
