Wow! What an action packed, fun filled weekend we had – capped off by an awesome tree talk last night! We all awoke today refreshed and eager to begin week 6. Last night at tree talk we discussed what it means to be ‘the best version of yourself.’ Many thoughtful, reflective and meaningful comments were shared at the Birch Rock – and today we put this idea of ‘being the best version of yourself’ into action. Badges were flying out today all around camp. Amos L. earned his junior artist, Will C. earned his junior lacrosse badge – the Williams, Nicky L. earned his avid reader badge, Jack M. earned his voracious reader badge, and many other hard working and dedicated Birch Rockers earned badge parts today as well!

With a few scattered rain showers this afternoon, the weather cleared up just in time to play evening activity on the field – capture the flag! While the majority of camp played CTF, a select group of campers were called over to the soccer field to begin training for the upcoming Agawam soccer tournament this week (Wednesday and Friday). The BRC team looks very strong, and look forward to competing in the tournament – but most importantly representing the Birch Rock community and being BRC gentlemen at the tournament. Updates about the tournament will be provided later in the week!

It was an AMAZING day at BRC – with only two weeks left we are all making an effort to cherish every moment and make as many awesome memories as possible. We can’t wait for tomorrow!
