What an amazing Saturday at Birch Rock Camp! Throughout the day, Camp was buzzing with excitement for campfire tonight. We did have a couple badges go out, Damien F earned his loon badge today, swimming across the lake and back again – way to go Damien! Rhodey V also earned his Jr Artist badge today, he has been working super hard in our art studio this past week creating some spectacular landscapes.

At dinner, we were thrilled to honor a true Birch Rock legend — Musc, who is celebrating 25 incredible years as Head Counselor!

For a quarter of a century, Musc has been the heart and soul of camp life. His energy is boundless, his positivity contagious, and his dedication unmatched. Whether leading by example, cheering on campers at activities, or making sure every boy feels included and supported, Musc embodies everything Birch Rock stands for.

    • Each summer Musc’s mission has always been clear: make sure the boys are safe, happy, and having fun. His leadership has inspired generations of campers and counselors to be their best selves — to lend a hand, cheer each other on, and live by the Birch Rock motto: Help the Other Fellow.

    After our delicious dinner of hotdog and hamburgers And a celebration of our fearless leader Musc, we all got to enjoy an amazing Campfire. This week the theme was Trios. Each cabin that had a skit also wove in some mention of moose.

    Thank you, Musc, for 25 unforgettable summers, for shaping this community, and for making Birch Rock a home away from home for so many. Here’s to you — and to many more summers to come!
