We’re Fired Up!- June 22nd Blog
Posted by: Logan Landry
Today was an amazing day of first full activities! Campers were bursting with excitement the second they woke up, and the energy they displayed was radiating through the rolling hills of Waterford, Maine.
Our feet bustled towards delicious eggs, sausage and potatoes this morning. The warmth of our kitchen staff’s freshly made food, and the tranquility of Lake McWain is a staple for our campers and staff.
The day carried on with grins ear to ear, crows feet and palpable laughter that echoed throughout the hill.
We had two badges go out today, and we are so proud of Hector C. for earning his archer, and Kieran S. who earned his junior lacrosse badge. Rock on guys!
Rain, snow, sleet or…well… just rain today, but that didn’t stop us! At camp our staff is able to pivot on the fly, and the campers’ receptiveness is something we are so appreciative of. Their continued energy, positive attitudes and their readiness to fully commit is incredible.
So…BINGO!
We closed the night with intense games of bingo. With rare and invigorating prizes on the line, campers put all their focus on the game in front of them.
Overall, today was phenomenal. WE LOVE BRC!
