We had a great late wakeup and sent the Moose on their hiking and canoeing trips in strong spirits despite the dumping rain. That same rain gave us a great opportunity to do our rainy day activity program, which includes wee-blocks, puddle jumping, MLB The Showdown, Chess, Magic the Gathering, Bowling, darts, and of course swimming. Everyone had a blast!

The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying a great afternoon, where Ewan D. and Eton M. completed their Ducks, a great accomplishment! The Otters worked on Marathon Monday, where they attempted to swim enough laps to add up to 26.2 miles. It was a valiant effort, and it can’t be said for certain whether they completed it or not. 

Our evening had great vibes! We had a delicious dinner of pasta, and then we had Birchstock and opened Dirty Dave’s Dive Bar! We watched awesome performances from George C., James W., Matt L., Eton M., Will B., and many more campers who jammed all night! The dance floor was popping, and Janice and Jon stole the show (as always). The original songs by the Wolves group were so cool! It was another great day at Birch Rock, and we’re excited for Beach Day and the Opening of the BRC Resort tomorrow!
