Golly! What an exemplary day at Birch Rock Camp! The second session is in full swing, badges are flying, swimmers are swimming, and we are all having an incredible time. It was an absolute badge bonanza at volleyball today – Adrian N, James P, Jeremiah G, and Otto K all earned their Jr. Volleyball badges. They were working hard bumping, setting and spiking at the volleyball court 4th period. It has been so impressive to watch them improve their skills over the course of this second session. Tovi T earned his Jr. Artist badge today as well. He was been sketching various portraits in the art room and around camp, and his hard work earned him the junior art badge today. 

We had quite an interesting dinner tonight in the lodge. It was a surreal themed dinner and it was awesome! The lodge was set up in a very peculiar manner, the food was very delicious but definitely out of the ordinary; square meatballs, green linguine, potato soup and orange cauliflower. Bizarre but tasty! For evening activity, the Slim Reaper (Noah T – our fearless field director) announced Quorum! Quorum is a camp favorite – somewhat similar to sharks and minnows on the field. A great time was had by all and we can’t wait for this weekend’s fun activities.
